Loki Update

Loki Update

By:  Kevin

Loki eats fruits and vegetables but mainly vegetables. Loki is a couple months old. And she is very nice. And she’s cuddly. She coos when she is happy. And when she’s not happy she squeaks. She doesn’t like to be put on the floor.

Many parents have asked about Valentine’s Day. We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friday as part of our goal.

If you are sending in Valentine’s treats, here is some classroom information:
  • ·       we have 7 students in our class
  • ·       there are no food allergies
  • ·       all are boys

Friday for goal, we will be having a Valentine’s Day party with pizza, games, and a movie.

We will trade treats at this time (even if your child goal busts, they will be able to participate in the exchange). If you have any questions, please comment below.

Welcome Loki

Welcome  Loki

On Friday, we went to the pet store and picked out our very first class pet. Loki is a female guinea pig. She is young, sweet and the kids instantly fell in love with her. Having a class pet means having more responsibility. We have researched everything about guinea pigs and are learning to handle her properly. The students are doing daily jobs to make sure she is taken care of. We will give her fresh food, veggies, and water daily. We will also spot clean her cage daily and fully clean it weekly. This is a lot of responsibility, but the students are excited to take care of Loki.

We will be selling popcorn at school every Thursday to make money to buy the things that Loki needs. This includes fresh veggies, food, bedding, and treats.

Thank you for your donations to help buy items for Loki. The students each picked out items for her and helped make every decision. They truly spoiled her. Loki is a very lucky guinea pig to have so many people loving and taking care of her. We will keep you updated with her. If you have any questions, please contact me.
